Every day this week, I thought it was Friday. Except for Friday, of course. Today did not feel like the end of the week. It didn't help that we had to conclude the day with a wonderful hour and a half lock down because people in Kent aren't the brightest and decided to just go on a shooting spree. Haha, and Leah was supposed to get her braces off at 2:30 so she was pisssssed. But then Michael played Pokerface and he, Mustafa, Leah and I all did the dance from our "rave." ;] It was pretty cool. But other than that (and the fact that Gabert played music and then Scrubs and it turned into an afternoon party), the lock down sucked. I was hungry and tired and wanted to go home. They kept tricking us, too! They'd come on the intercom and be like, "Staff and Students, thank you, we appreciate your patience, BUT WE ARE STILL IN LOCK DOWN MODE." It was terrible. That happened at least three times. After an hour and a half, it was over. And no one was even shot! It was very frustrating.
So yes, this week was extreeeemely long. I lived through four "Fridays" plus a real one. The days just kept dragging out longer and longer, too. I'm just so glad that we have three long days off now. Though I know they won't be nearly long enough. I need another two week vacation. Even a week would do. But oh, too bad, because those things called Presidents Week and Spring Break are gone this year. Honestly, I'll be pretty thankful when the year's over. Though I'm sure I'll wish it wasn't over later. Hahah.
Favorite quote of the day:
(During the lock down)
Quan: The world is ending!
Leah: I know, and I won't even be able to go to heaven with my braces off!!!
